Why PetCalmZone exists
Separation anxiety is one of the most common — and most misunderstood — problems in dog ownership. Millions of dogs suffer from it every day. Most of their owners don’t know what they’re looking at, and the internet doesn’t make it easy: vague advice, product recommendations driven by commissions, and “tips” that don’t account for how anxiety actually works.
PetCalmZone was built to fix that. We research what actually works, explain it in plain language, and recommend products we’d stand behind — not products that earn us the highest commission.
What we cover
Everything on this site is focused on one specific problem: separation anxiety in dogs. We cover how to recognize it, how to treat it at home, which products are worth trying, and when to bring in professional help. We don’t cover every pet health topic under the sun — we go deep on one thing and try to do it well.
Our standards
We only recommend products we’ve researched thoroughly. When the research is mixed, we say so. When a product has real limitations, we include them. We believe honest reviews build more trust than promotional ones — and that readers can tell the difference.
We participate in affiliate programs, which means we may earn a commission if you purchase through our links. This never influences which products we recommend or how we review them. See our Affiliate Disclosure for full details.
A note on professional advice
We’re not veterinarians or certified animal behaviorists. The information on this site is educational — it’s designed to help you understand separation anxiety and make more informed decisions, not to replace professional guidance. For moderate to severe cases, or any situation involving medication, we always recommend working with a licensed vet or veterinary behaviorist.
